BAE Systems has been awarded contract modifications from the U.S. Army Tank Automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM) for work on Bradley Fighting Vehicles, Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) Redesigned Cabs, and M113A3 Ambulance vehicles. The total value of the contract modifications is $60.6 million. "The Bradley and M113 Family of Vehicles play integral roles in the Army's Heavy Brigade Combat Teams," said Joe McCarthy, vice president and general manager of HBCT Systems for BAE Systems. "BAE Systems continues to support our troops overseas by maintaining and improving these vehicles to ensure soldiers are protected and able to complete their mission." Work on these contracts will be managed out of the BAE Systems facility in Santa Clara, California and will be performed at other facilities including Fort Hood, Texas, and York, Pennsylvania. |
