Armor Holdings, Inc. Receives $14.4 Million Order for Ceramic Body Armor Inserts

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Armor Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer of security products and vehicle armor systems serving military, law-enforcement, homeland security and commercial markets, announced today that it has received a contract modification from the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command.

The new delivery order, which is drawn from a $66 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract announced previously, includes approximately $14.4 million for additional quantities of protective ceramic body armor plates to be delivered through 2006. Work under this contract will continue to be performed by the Armor Holdings Aerospace & Defense Group at its Phoenix, Arizona facilities.
