IMI wins $30 million contract to supply small arms ammunition to the US

Ramat Hasharon, Israel -- Israel Military Industries Ltd. (IMI) announced today that it has received an order totaling $30 million, to supply Alliant Tech Systems small arms ammunition during the coming year.

IMI was selected by ATK due to the high quality and performance of its ammunition and its proven ability to deliver solutions on time.

IMI's Small Caliber Ammunition (SCA) Division, located in Nazareth, employs 300 highly qualified employees and is recognized as a world leader in small caliber ammunition. SCA designs and manufactures a complete range of ammunition, from 5.56mm to 0.5", including various Armor-Piercing (AP), sniping and training cartridges and is the exclusive supplier to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Other customers include the U.S. Army, armed forces of major NATO members, law enforcement and special units and customers in commercial markets worldwide.
