Advanced Power is an Australian company, located in Sydney. We supply and install commercial generators up to 2500kVA throughout Australia and design and manufacture a complete range of portable and stationary generators and generator/welders.

We are proud to be suppliers of generator sets to the Australian Defence Forces as we have been for over 10 years. These sets have been designed and developed to Army specifications. Over 3000 sets have been delivered to the Australian Defence Forces and include AC 2.5 kVA, 4.5 kVA and 16 kVA and DC 1.3 and 2.6 kW and fully automated 200 kW dummy load banks.

A special 8 kVA diesel driven mobile lighting tower for the Australian Defence Force has been accepted and is now in final build. This tower has a mast with extended height of 8.5 metres.

A unique 2 kW AC and DC lightweight field inverter type generator is currently undergoing final design for competitive trialing with the British Ministry of Defence in April 2003.

All Military generator sets are supplied with unique microprocessor based control systems incorporating digital read out of volts, speed, load and engine monitoring and shutdown.

Military equipment is designed for high ambient temperature and dusty conditions with high quality power required under all conditions for applications and loads including computers, radar and radio communication.

The company has the largest range of commercial petrol and diesel powered generator sets available and offers users a selection of engines.

Advanced Power also exports its range of commercial generator sets to China, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Pacific Islands, Hong Kong and the U.A.E.

Advanced Power is Quality Assured to ISO9002 and Defence Quality Assured.

Advanced Power is expanding its range of equipment with constant product development and has recently introduced 3 new products.

a. 4:1 Portable Workshop consisting of a 180 amp welder - 7 kVA generator, 12 cfm compressor and battery charger

b. 180/200 amp AC portable welder with auxiliary power up to 7 kVA

c. 240 amp DC welder capable of 1 phase and 3 phase auxiliary output and ability to weld and use AC power simultaneously.

Advanced Power is represented in the Middle East area by Wobar Companies Representation and Trading Agencies.
