This is the second-generation Euromissile medium MILAN 2 missile system built under licence by Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) of India. A full description of the system is given under the International entry in this section. BDL builds the ground-launched system and the Euromissile/BDL developed Flame adaptor kit for use with vehicle-mounted Tula Machinery Design latter is used on the licence-built Russian Federation and Associated States (CIS) BMP-2 Sarath ICV.
A night sight is offered as an option. The French DX143 training simulator is also built and offered with the system. The data given in the following table differs slightly from the original Euromissile information.
In production. In service with the Indian Army. As far as it is known this missile has not been exported. In the future it is expected that Bharat Dynamics Limited may undertake licenced production of more advanced versions of the MILAN missile system.
