For more than 40 years, the VLRA (Liaison, Reconnaissance and Support Vehicle) is the reference tactical vehicle in the French army and in over 50 armed forces worldwide.

In 2010, the range was totally modernized in order to keep abreast of the changing requirements of users: new engine, new braking and steering system, increase of the payload for more than one ton for each version, greater maneuverability and better ergonomics in the cabin. Thus, the VLRA that exists in both electronics and non-electronics motorization, integrates the leading-edge technologies: a more powerful engine that meets the Euro 2 and Euro 5 emission standards, disconnectable ABS and a 5-speed automatic gear box.

With a range of up to 1400 km and a 180-litre water tank, the VLRA’s mobility is exceptional. Its design, modularity, ruggedness, standardized components and low maintenance costs make it a vehicle particularly well-suited to operations in hostile environments, notably in Africa and the Middle East, where its all-terrain performance has been proven under the most extreme conditions. A new 6x6 version adds to the 4x4 range, with always the famous spares commonality that makes the success of the VLRA.

Multipurpose, it can be configured to fulfill a wide variety of missions: personnel transport, cargo, shelter, tanker, ambulance, fire support, fire-fighting, etc.

The VLRA TPK, the VLRA former version, is still in operation. Production, support, restoring to operational condition and availability of spare parts guaranteed for 15 years continue to be assured by our partners.
