Hanwha Techwin presented a mockup of the UG—V 6x6 (Unmanned Ground Combat Vehıcle) hybrid unmanned ground vehicle with an electric drive at DX Korea 2016, Korea's main land armament show. The first tests of the vehicle were in October 2016.

The vehicle is optimized for combat missions and is equipped with a stabilized remote controled weapon station with, armed with a 7.62 mm machine gun, and two ATGMs.

The vehicle is 4.3 m long and 2.5 m wide. The energy source for the six motor built into each wheel can be fuel cells or lithium-ion batteries. Maximum speed of 60 km/h. Each wheel is equipped with an independent suspension and steering mechanism to improve maneuverability in difficult terrain.
