The chassis of DES-70FB Light Armoured Anti-riot Personnel Carrier was secondly optimized design which based on Dongfeng Hammer Army-used off-road vehicle. It has independent suspension, front-mounted engine,185 hp, 7t front/rear bearing bridge, rear flat transmission case and wide tread. It enables the vehicle has so many special characteristics, such as powerful output engine, outstanding maximum load, convenient handling, excellent off-road quality, large space for rear passengers, easily changed for different purpose use and etc.

Designed and manufactured as army-used armored vehicle, It looks powerful and intrepid which is obviously different with other same models. The vehicle cabin room was designed for convenient sit down, get on and get off for 11 persons. Besides, it also can develop into armored command vehicle, armored reconnaissance vehicle, armored ammunition carrying vehicle, armored wounded soldiers carrier and etc.

Vehicle Resistance Level: CENB5, Four sides of this vehicle can resist 7.62mm Armored-Piercing Shell and horizontal shoot with M-16 with SS109 bullet. The top and bottom of vehicle can resist submachine gun with steel cored warhead. The whole vehicle can resist equivalent demolition on the side and bottom.
