Together with the Iveco Defense Vehicles, BAE Systems formed a group and presented a version of the Iveco SuperAV amphibious wheeled armored vehicle as a combat vehicle for ACV 1.1 of the Marine Corps of the United States.

In July 2018, this offer was selected as the winner in the tender and BAE Systems contracted $ 198 million for the delivery of the first 30 Amphibious Combat Vehicles (ACV), with the possible expansion of deliveries to 204 vehicles that could cost up to 1,2 billion dollars.
