Kinzhal 57-mm remote-controlled weapon station is designed to be installed on promising combat armored vehicles from the light to heavy category, as well as to equip existing vehicle when upgrading.
It was demonstrated at the Fifth International Military-Technical Forum "Army-2019" (Kubinka, Russia, June 2019) installed on T-15 (Object 149) heavy infantry fighting vehicle on the promising Armata universal tracked platform.
This weapon station was designed on the basis of the AU-220M Baikal. It differs in a somewhat modified form of the turret and in the presence of two launchers for ATGM. In this weapon station, 9M120 Attack missiles are used, which, depending on the modification, have a firing range of up to 6-10 km and are capable of carrying warheads for various purposes.
