SKBM demonstrated its new Manul Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) at the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum.
This IFV combines developments on new modifications of the BMP-3 and Boomerang. The IFV has a Remote Controlled Weapon Station (RCWS) armed with a 30-mm automatic gun, a 7.62-mm machine gun and an ATGM Kornet. The engine is located in the front, the troop compartment is in the rear, the landing is carried out through the folding ramp. The troop compartment accommodates 8 people.
The maximum speed of the vehicle on the highway is 70 km/h, on a dirt road - 55 km/h and 9.5 km/h afloat.
The TKB-945 Boomerang-BM RCWS is also used on the Kurganets-25, Boomerang platforms and on the T-15 Armata heavy IFV. The degree of unification of the Manul IFV with the BMP-3 is 50%.
