Ultra Electronics Datel has undertaken a HUMS trial on a sample of LET and DROPS vehicles from the General Support Vehicles IPT. Datel will: • Automatically collect vehicle data and analyse it. • Generate information for active fleet management. • Inform thinking about the content of a Mid-Life Improvement (ML!) programme, • Inform thinking about the selection of vehicles for the MLI, • Inform thinking about future fleet size and mix. • Calculate fleet running costs. Datel will deliver a scalable, integrated solution that combines vetronics, off-board communications and a decision-support tool to deliver information to a range of stakeholders. |
