The SLSA gun loading and iring simulator is designed for T-72 tank and upgraded versions. It allows to carry out a tactical preliminary training for crews on the garrison shooting range and cradle" appliance. The simulator conveys the sygnal of gun's breech block shut to the tank automation system, enabling a completion of loading cycle and notification of gun readiness for firing. The simulator enebles to ire a single shot from PKT machine gun by means of main gun electric fring lock or burst from PKT machine gun by means of PKT electric firing lock operation.

MOUNTING OF SIMULATOR

The simulator is installed in a tank turret by means of a propellant charge fastening holder. This holder belongs to a tank equipment and is located on a rotating conveyor under a commander's seat. The simulator is connected to automation system by means of SzR connectors. SLSA User's Manual contains a connection diagram.

The simulator design and mounting works do not break a genuine of T-72 tank subassemblies.

Firing simulator operation mode:

• gun firing simulation: voltage from a gun electric iring lock is coveyed to PKT electromagnet in a from of pulse resulting in one single shot from PKT

• PKT firing simulation: voltage from PKT electric firing lock is applied directly to a PKT electromagnet and results in a burst firing. Its duration depends on a time period of voltage supply to a PKT electric firing lock.
