The meteorological sensor MAWS6056BCGPS is a powerfull instrument measuring the weather conditions. This intelligent and sturdy device used for balistic correction measures in a permanent way :

• the wind speed

• the wind direction related to magnetic North

• the ambiant temperature

• the atmospheric pressure

The high precision weather sensor MAWS6056BCGPS answers quickly the variations of wind and measures from the slightest breath. The measurements provided by the weather sensor are transmitted by a serial link RS-422 (or MilCAN bus on request) to the MBT fire control system (or other). Thanks to an integrated electronic compass, the wind direction is always indicated to magnetic North. A GPS receiver combine the geographical coordinates from the place of measures with the weather data's.

This weather sensor supports without any problem shocks and vibrations. It does not requiring any particular maintenance.

As an option, this weather station can be equiped with our digital ammunition storage temperature sensor (TEMPEX). It is robust, compact, automatic and without any moving parts.
