REMAX is powered by the vehicle itself and it has internal self test capability, able to verify all the electronics functions that assure its operating conditions.
The system consists basically of two units: the weapon station, outside the vehicle, and the operation console, inside the vehicle.
For observation and target acquisition, REMAX can be equipped with different payloads including OIP Sensor Systems NV Mini-EOPTRIS (Miniaturized Electro Optical Ranging and Imaging System) or Thales Canada Inc TIM. The turret and gun-aiming stabilization system is supplied by Moog In.
