The average mobile biomorphic robot Rys-BP, which weighs up to 400 kilograms, is able to move "including in a complex nondeterministic environment" (conventional name BPMB400). Government tests of the prototype are planned for 2019.
It is planned that the robot will be able to perform the following tasks:
To do this, it can be manufactured in three versions - an intelligence robot, a combat support robot and a robot for carrying cargo. The combat robot will most likely be armed with a machine gun and/or anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs).
The speed of moving the vehicle on road is up to 15 kilometers per hour, and of-road is up to 10 kilometers per hour.
The robot will be able to move in urban and industrial infrastructure (including destroyed) on concrete, asphalt, marble, wood and ground areas and sand-covered areas. It also provides for the movement to the icy surface, for fallen leaves, for grass up to a meter high, for snow up to 400 millimeters deep, in rain, on water-saturated surfaces up to 400 mm deep, to cross thresholds up to 500 millimeters in height, staircases of industrial buildings with an angle of inclination of up to 30 degrees and step height up to 200 millimeters, ditches up to 500 millimeters wide and walls up to 400 millimeters in height and 300 millimeters in width.
