The developer started the works on the ABM-BSM30 weapon station in 2014. The prototype was ready in 2016.
The ABM-BCM30 weapon station uses a AO-18L (GSh-6-301) 30-mm six-barreled anti-aircraft gun or an optional 30 mm 2A42 gun as the main weapon. It is possible to install any Russian gun with a caliber of up to 30 mm. In addition, there is a coaxial machine gun of 7.62 mm caliber. Anti-aircraft and anti-tank missile systems can also be attached.
The turret is optimized for integration to infantry fighting vehicles, tracked and wheeled armored personnel carriers of other vehicles. The turret is stabilized in two axles and has a target auto-tracking system. The slew rates is 110 degrees per second.
The weight of the weapon station is about 1 ton with a full ammunition - 300 rds for a 30-mm cannon and 3 stores for a 7.62 mm machine gun.
According to the developers, it can be used not only for armored vehicles as a weapon station, but also as part of combat robotic complexes. The control can be carried out from a distance of up to 50 km via a radio channel with the help of the Strazh-M automated control system.
One operator is able to control simultaneously four robotic weapon station.
