IOP is an initiative of the US Department of Defense to organize and maintain compatibility standards for unmanned vehicles. Thanks to the IOP-compatible software messaging and hardware interfaces, Nomad can easily use the best available on the market capabilities, sensors and specialized systems for a variety of missions.

Andros Nomad, has four independent track pendant sections that provide extreme mobility and stability when climbing to an uneven surface, overcoming complex obstacles and slopes, with a steepness of up to 60 degrees.

The average Nomad robot weighs 64 kilograms and measures 90 centimeters in length, 58 centimeters in width and 66 in height when its mast is lowered, or 106 when the mast is standing upright. The Nomad's manipulator arm has a load capacity of 6 kilograms in fully extended position and has an impressive dexterity due to the size of the shoulder, its rotation, the inclination of the elbow and the possibilities of the wrist.
