The second level uses passive lightweight armor panels and protects against 14.5-mm armor-piercing projectiles and improvised explosive devices. The third level of protection uses explosive reactive armor panels and can withstand RPG hits and 14.5-mm projectiles. Damaged armor modules can be field replaced.
