Not only the weaponry but also some of other features are able to be modified up according to users' requirements.

SURVEILLANCE AND FIRE UNIT (SFU)

SFU is a platform rotating -20°/+60° vertically and nx360° horizontally with 120°/s maximum speed. SFU has a sensor box with a thermal cam, an electro-optic cam and a laser range finder, an ammunition box with 300-500 bullets. However, YAK is designed and built to be operated with another types of weaponry existing in inventory of armies. It needs just an easy modification on adaptor fixing weaponry in frame of a probable contract signed by YSS and the users.

The platform could be operated under the temperature conditions limited by -32°C/+55°C compliant with NATO standards.

OPERATOR CONTROL UNIT (OCU)

The operator commands YAK with the assistance of a grip stick. The SFU gets rotated pushing a button on grip stick with thumb. Besides rotating the SFU the operator can zoom in/out, focus in tune, select cams and shoot as well. The console is very plain and contains limited buttons to help operator command the system very fast and easily. Most of commands can be generated by using the grip stick.

Besides observing the area of operations combing the imaginary strips YAK can observe some crucial points of battle field automatically. The operator only needs to mark the some points of area which he wants to observe.

Actually all other features of YAK are the same of ROBOGUARD.
