Uran-9 CMRC complex designed for enhance the effectiveness of combat missions and reducing the loss of unit personnel during the conduct of hostilities including on urbanized areas.

Uran-9 for the first time publicly demonstrated at the exhibition and forum Army-2016.

It provides remote reconnaissance and fire support for combined-arms, reconnaissance and anti-terrorist units.

The overall dimensions of this 10-ton armored tracked vehicle are 5.12 x 2.53 x 2.5 meters.

The robot is armed with a 30-mm automatic cannon 2A72, a 7.62-mm PKTM machine gun, and a set of guided Ataka weapons located in a rotating turret. In addition to the robot can be installed anti-aircraft missiles such as "Igla", jet flamethrowers such as Shmel or RPG.

The Uran-9 complex can effectively combat both day and night, is capable of detecting enemy tanks at daylight hours for 6 km, at night - for 3 km, to detect laser irradiation of the enemy's targeting systems and independently put smoke curtains. Diesel-electric power pack allows to reach speeds of up to 35 km/h.

The range of the remote control of system is about 3 km, and the maximum distance between robots is up to 1 km.
