The Digital Vanguard Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) has over 500 units in service with leading law enforcement and military forces worldwide. The Digital Vanguard is a multipurpose, multi-mission, two-man portable robot for responding to EOD/IEDD, SWAT, HAZMAT and CBRNE threats, surveillance and tactical missions. Its low profile, mobility and dexterity enable this robot to access confined spaces such as under vehicles, narrow aisles and storage compartments of airplanes, buses and trains.

The Digital Vanguard - recently upgraded to the Digital Vanguard-S (DV-S) generation - is a multipurpose bomb disposal robot for responding to EOD & IEDD and CBRNe threats, and tactical missions. Its low profile, mobility and dexterity enable this EOD robot to access confined spaces such as under vehicles, as well as the aisles and storage compartments of airplanes, buses and trains.

The Digital Vanguard-S bomb disposal robot has an auxiliary port and telescopic arm to deploy an array of bomb disposal tools including disruptors, cameras, electronic countermeasures, X-ray equipment and CBRNe sensors.

The Digital Vanguard-S has a new drive assembly for faster speed, improved mobility, greater reliability and improved performance. This versatile platform supports several optional accessories, including a Telescopic Arm and the ROV EOD Multi-Tool Kit.

For CBRNe missions, the Digital Vanguard-S supports the powerful ROV Integrated Sensor Suite (ROVISS). This allows users to concurrently deploy and receive information from multiple sensors to manage threats from explosives, Chemical and Biological Agents, Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs), and Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMs). A meteorological sensor provides critical environmental information such as wind speed and direction.

The x500 Integrated Command Portal controls all robot functions, arm and claw positioning, and multiple cameras. It records two way audio, full HD video and captures still images, as well as displaying all data received from the optional ROVISS Integrated Sensor Suite. Its Graphic User Interface (GUI) can be set to many languages, including the ability to have the operator manuals display in native languages.

The x500 has easy to learn controls, which require minimal follow-on training. Lightweight and a small footprint for easy portability, it offers a Sunlight Readable Quadra Clear® 39.6cm (15.6”) full HD 1080p (1920x1080) 800 NITs widescreen display. The x500 is rated at IP65 and meets MIL-STD 810G, MIL-STD-461F and ANSI/ISA 12.12.01 standards.
