Armor Holdings Receives $16 M Order for FMTV Program

Armor Holdings, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of military vehicles, vehicle armor systems and life safety and survivability systems serving military, law enforcement, homeland security and commercial markets, announced today the receipt of a $16 million order for the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicle (FMTV) program from the U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). The Company stated that the new order is issued under the existing multi-year FMTV production contract for purchase of certain FMTV accessories, such as additional air conditioning units for specialized vehicle models. Work will be completed in 2007 and 2008 by the Aerospace & Defense Group, Tactical Vehicle Systems Division at its facilities located in Sealy, Texas. |
