Raytech are the leading supplier of electrical equipment and connectivity systems for military vehicles and aerospace, marine and commercial applications.
Raytech approach each task with the aim of providing a total solution that reflects the requirements and desires of all stakeholders. In this way, all persons connected with the equipment or vehicle are consulted to ensure the system’s optimum efficiency and usability; whereby the views of the user, installer, maintainer and those responsible for logistic support are all incorporated.
Raytech’s expertise benefits customers engaged in new equipment projects and, in particular, the modernisation and upgrade and life extension programmes for older equipment. In the latter case Raytech are able to greatly simplify connectivity systems for the benefit of maintainability, performance and such that they will interface with more modern sub-systems.
Raytech comes out of the Raychem organization and are one of their largest distributors, particularly in Central Europe as well as the Middle and Far East. Allied to strategic partnering arrangements with companies such as Amphenol, ITT-Cannon and Tyco Electronics, this allows Raytech access to the industry’s leading technology and most up to date components at competitive prices, together with technical support. Raytech use only components that are physically robust and which will meet the most exacting operational and climatic demands.
Raytech uses HarnWare and other CAD systems to help design tailor-made Harness-solutions or MIL-1553B Databus System that satisfy the requirements of all aerospace and other qualification standards.
The range of products and services include:
* Harness Systems and Cable Connector Assemblies. * Custom made Multicore Cables. * EMI/EMP screening; optimised with shield termination systems. * Ruggedisation of equipment and systems for military use. * Large Stock of MIL-Connectors and Back Shells. * Zero-halogen cables and components for marine applications. * Heat-shrink materials and components. * Identification Systems allied to computerised printing. * System Design. * Prototype Build. * Installation, integration and commissioning. * Serial manufacturing to full ISO and AQAP standards.
Through strategic alliances with companies such as Tyco Electronics or CLS Systems Ltd., Raytech participate in complete systems engineering for military vehicles, and in this context have been involved in supplying components for new vehicle programmes in Ireland, Singapore, Jordan, UK, GY, Austria, Taiwan and Saudi Arabia, and upgrades in Brunei, Czech, Poland and Jordan. CLS Systems design electrical and power management systems for military vehicles and rely on the connectivity expertise of Raytech in providing total solutions.
Raytech has sister Companies in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia and latterly in Jordan. Raytech Jordan has been set up as a joint venture between The King Abdullah Design and Development Bureau (‘KADDB’), Raytech and CLS Systems, and aims to satisfy the production needs for CLS and KADDB as well as providing long term support for the maintenance and upgrade of the vehicles operated by the Jordan Armed Forces.
