DEFENCE EXHIBITION ORGANISATION

The Deo is part of the Department of Defence Production and Supplies, Ministry of Defence. The Indian Defence Industries under the Ministry of Defence comprise a net work of 39 Ordnance Factories, 8 Government owned companies and a quality assurance organization. Among them, they have the capability of supplying state-of-art weapon platforms/weapons, equipment and associated harware to the defence and paramilitary forces. DEO assists these units in their export promotion activities and is the nodal agency for organising International Exhibitions such as Aero India and Defexpo in India and for the participation of the Indian Defence Industries in Exhibitions abroad.
