Five- to eight-speed power shift gearbox for 6 x 6 and 8x8 driveline configurations. Already installed in heavy firefighting vehicles and APCs/AFVs, covering a power range from 450 to 830 hp. The HP 1500 is installed in the Italian Centauro 8x8 105mm tank destroyer of which 400 have been delivered to the Italian Army with final deliveries being made late in 1996. This transmission has also been selected by UNIPOWER for the nine 6x6 tank transporters delivered to Oman in 1995. These tow semi-trailers carry Vickers Defence Systems Challenger 2 MBTs.
