BRDM-2Di «Hazar» Armored Reconnaissance and Patrol Vehicle is a modernized version of the vehicle BRDM-2.

BRDM-2Di «Hazar» is two-axle, all-wheel drive vehicle, which has high dynamic qualities, large cruising range, high cross-country capacity, and capable to surmount water obstacles on run. BRDM-2Di «Hazar» is equipped with high-powered diesel engine FPT "IVECO" Tector (EURO-3).

The vehicle is intended for the conduct of reconnaissance by fight and fire support of mechanized infantry sub-units. BRDM-2Di can be equipped with various arms.
