CS/VP3 is Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) type vehicle.

Vehicle is designed to provide secured transportation for combat personnel and materials, specially under the threat of anti-tank mines. Ballistic protection level: BR-3 to BR-7 upon request, for windows and steel structure Mine protection level (optional): add on anti-personnel mine protection and explosive up to 4 kg mine under belly and 7 kg under wheel Exhaust gas signature reduction: exhaust pipes are protected to limit IR signature Countermeasure systems: Smoke grenade launchers are available, as well as smoke screen system, as an option Hull structure: passive armour protection (ballistic still and ballistic glasses) Towing equipment (optional): 2 towing points at rear, pintle at rear Self recovery winch (optional): hydraulic winch on the rear and front side of the vehicle or electric winch on the front as an option Mounting provisions for air-drop: lift points at the top of the hull Personnel emergency exits: three side doors and a rear mounted ramp (with an emergency door in it)
