The SCARAB is designed to collect audio-video data in hard to reach or dangerous zones. The system transmits the data via RF link to the video surveillance and remote control unit.

The SCARAB set consists of controllable exploration platform and remote control, integrated with 7'' display.

The exploration platform is a wheelbase with built-in high resolution cameras, thermal camera, microphone and audio-video transmitter.

Video data is digitally transmitted by wireless, which provides high quality and stability of the image even under poor signal distribution. The SCARAB uses video transmitters and receivers from CORDON series with COFDM-modulation, manufactured by SÅÒ-1.

Li-PO rechargeable battery is used as a power supply. It provides not less than 45 minutes of continuous operation of the platform.

The exploration platform controlled is carried out from remote control unit with built-in display.

The exploration platform is controlled with double-axes joystick from the video surveillance and remote control unit. Joystick, display and control buttons are located on the video surveillance and remote control unit.

Li-PO built-in rechargeable battery is used as video surveillance and remote control unit’s power supply.

The device is stored and transported in the dust and water proofed PELICAN case.
