|Manufacturer:||International Golden Group - IGG|
|Name:||Remote controlled weapon station|
IGG-RWS14 is a low cost remote controlled ewapon station, armed with a heavy machine gun of 14.5 mm caliber, it can be mounted on vehicles with armor protection up to level 4 according to STANAG 4569. International Golden Group (IGG) for the first time demonstrated this weapon station at the DSEI 2017.
Ammunition caliber 14.5 mm have kinetic energy, twice as much as 12.7 mm. A system with such ammunition is able to penetrate 20 mm of homogeneous armor at an angle of 50 ° at a distance of up to 1000 m.
This remote controlled weapon system can use MG caliber 14.5 mm, 12.7 mm, 7 62 mm or 40-mm AGL.
The system is designed for light weight and can be installed on almost any combat vehicle. The system can be controlled by one crew member from the hull, under the armor protection, using the remote control unit.
The sight has a day and a thermal imaging cameras for detecting targets at any time of the day/night. The day sight has a range of target recognition up to 3800 m, thermal imager - detection range up to 4000 m and target recognition - up to 2000 m.
The accuracy of the shooting is increased by laser rangefinder, which measures distances up to 4000 m with an accuracy of 50 m.
The system will be able to hit targets in motion, as the weapon is 2-axes stabilized, and ballistic computer are works in real time. The effective range of firing is more than 2000 m by 14.5-mm rounds.
The 14.5 mm KPV machine gun has an 200 ready-to-fire ammunition, which are supplied from a store located on the left side.
The guidance is completely electric, 360° in the traverse and in the range from -17° to + 60 ° - in azimuth, which increases the efficiency of the weapon station in the urban environment.
The total weight depends on weapons and ammunition, but it is about 290 kg.
