The BREM-7K Armored Repair-Evacuation Vehicle, on the base of the BTR-70Di Armored Personnel Carrier, is wheeled, floating, armored all-wheel drive vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with two high-powered diesel engines FPT “IVECO” Tector (EURO-3).

BREM-7K is intended to solve the following problems:

• conduct of technical reconnaissance

• towing faulty and damaged wheeled vehicles both controlled and uncontrolled

• performing load

• lifting activity with the motion of cargo

• starting up engines of repaired vehicles from an external source

• drawing out stuck or sunk wheeled vehicles

• transportation of repair parts and instruments

• welding and cutting of metals

To perform these functions the vehicle is equipped with:

• jib crane KSS-1 with lifting capacity 2 tons

• plowshare

• device of suspension blocking

• winch with pulleys for deployment of block-and-tackles

• electric welding equipment

• bench for mechanical works

• table for repairing electrical equipment

• cargo platform

• tent (awning)
