FNSS SAVUNMA SISTEMLERI A.S. (FNSS Defence Systems Inc) is the leading manufacturer of tracked Armoured Combat Vehicles (ACV) not only in Turkey but also in the whole region extending from the Balkans to the Middle East and Asia. Established as a joint venture between United Defense LP. of the US (now BAE Systems Land Systems) and NUROL of Turkey, FNSS made a strong entry into the markets in 1988 through the manufacturing of Armoured Combat Vehicles in large quantities for theTurkish Army.The company is now developing a family of armoured wheeled vehicle manufacturing.

Following the completion of deliveries under this first contract, FNSS has signed an additional contract to meet the requirements of the Turkish Army. Production and deliveries underthis contract continues. Meanwhile the company also has executed a number of contracts for export customers. FNSS has extended the scope of its activities and expertise to cover the modernization of Ml 13 family of vehicles and provision of logistic support and other technical services for armoured vehicles of all types and configurations. FNSS designs and manufactures different variants of its ACV to meet customers' specific requirements and expectations. The variants are; Armoured Infantry Fighting Vehicles (with different turret options), Armoured Personnel Carriers, Armoured Anti-TankVehicles,Armoured Mortal-Vehicles (fitted with 81 mm, 120mm rifled or 120mm smooth bore mortars), Armoured Command Post, Armoured Engineering Squad,Armoured Forward Observation,Armoured Recovery, Armoured Ambulance and Armoured Air Defence Vehicles. FNSS' Armoured Combat Vehicles have successfully operated under United Nations Peace Keeping Operations in Somalia and continue to operate in Bosnia and Kosovo. Vehicles thoroughly operated under combat conditions have won the praise of International troops.

The company is currently developing a family of Wheeled Armoured Vehicles ranging from 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 and 10x10. It will be modular armoured wheeled vehicle to be offered to both domestic and international customers.

FNSS has AQAP-110 Industrial Quality Assurance Level certificate from the Ministry of National Defence of Republic of Turkiye and ISO 9001 Quality Assurance certificate from Lloyd's of the United Kindom. These certifications depict the attitude of FNSS towards quality.
