General Dynamics Santa Barbara Sistemas (GD SBS), integrated as a business unit in General Dynamics which is one of the world's main suppliers of defence systems and services, is basically devoted to the research and development, production and marketing of defence material and equipment, chiefly for land armed forces.

GD SBS produces armoured vehicles running both on wheels and tracks, light weapons, arms systems, small and medium calibre ammunition both for artillery use and tanks, warheads, gunpowder and explosives, cutting and perforation charges, floating bridges and missiles. It likewise manufactures the Leopard 2E tank for the Spanish Army.
