Military Industrial Company also manufactures and supplies the acclaimed and versatile GAZ family of armoured vehicles. GAZ-2330 TIGR – (TACTICAL INFANTRY GROUND ROAMER) - ARMOURED VEHICLE
Last year the full-scale production of a family of new armored GAZ-2330 TIGR vehicles was launched. These multifunctional vehicles can be used to deploy rapid-reaction teams, escort convoys, conduct routine patrols and carry out counter-terrorist operations. TIGR vehicles can be used in adverse weather conditions and extremes of temperature ranging from 50°C to +50°C, and can withstand almost 100% humidity at +25<°C. Rugges and mobile, the TIGR highly mobile vehicle can reach road speeds of up to 140 km/h on highways and up to 80km/h cross-country. The TIGR provides fuel endurance up to 900km. This armoured vehicle also features all-wheel independent torsion suspension with hydraulic telescopic shock absorbers and a roll bar, high 400mm ground clearance, radial 12.00R18 tires with directed tread pattern, all-wheel drive with interaxle locking differential in two-stage transfer case, cross-axle self-locking limited slip differentials, a steering system with hydraulic booster, and a powerful turbocharged diesel engine, granting the vehicle outstanding cross-country mobility. The TIGR can negotiate side slopes of 20°, gradients of 30°, trenches of up to 0.5m width and vertical obstacles of 0.4m in height. The vehicle incorporates a central tire inflation system which can adapt tire pressure to suit a variety of surfaces. The TIGR carries an electric winch with a pulling force of 4,000kgf and 20m of wire rope. The vehicle is also equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system for the engine compartment. The TIGR’s armored hull provides protection against small-arms fire, shell fragments and IED blasts. The hull and door windows are bulletproof and the vehicle’s spall liners protect personnel against spalls if the hull is hit by bullets or fragments and exclude ricochet from the opposite side if the hull is pierced. Last year vehicles of the TIGR family were adopted into service by the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. GAZ-233014 ARMORED SPECIAL PURPOSE VEHICLES
