Main Research and Testing Center of Robotics of the MoD RF - GNIITS RT

Main Research and Testing Center of Robotics (GNIITS RT) of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was established by the decision of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation of November 27, 2012 as part of the formation of the System of Advanced Military Research and Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and from June 1, 2013 it began to implement the activities of the plan of the formations and the fulfillment of the assigned tasks.

The GNIITS RT is a research organization and is a part of the Military-Scientific Complex of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

The main purpose of the GNIITs RT of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation:

• carrying out applied scientific research and testing in the field of design and development of robotic complexes for military use and carrying out the functions of the main scientific research organization of the Russian Defense Ministry in the field of robotics
