Formerly Armor Holdings.

The evolving threats faced by today's military forces have made the quality of mobility and protective products more important than at any other time in history. BAE Systems is dedicated to meeting those threats with innovative vehicles and protective products that enable warfighters to accomplish their missions safely.

Mobility & Protection Systems (M&PS) is the leader in providing integrated mobility solutions, combat protection and support for the U.S. military, U.S. government, homeland security and allied military forces.

M&PS' heritage has been to pave the way for many of the mobility solutions and survivability products that the U.S. military and government rely on. Some of the products we have pioneered include the U.S. Army's Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV); the Up-Armored HMMWV (UAH); commercial armored vehicles; Small Arms Protective Insert (SAPI) plates; and the UH-60 Black Hawk crashworthy armored crew seat.

Our continual dedication to research and development allows us to provide the latest in advanced survivability systems for the ground-vehicle, individual-equipment and aerospace markets. M&PS consistently delivers industry-leading products and services that anticipate survivability needs on both national and international levels.

In addition, M&PS provides first-class global support for its products through aftermarket spares, service-support programs, training, logistics and product-warranty programs. You can depend on M&PS to stay focused on evolving technology and to deliver high-quality survivability systems that meet customer needs both now and in the future.

Mobility & Protection Systems develops advanced survivability systems for the ground vehicle, individual equipment and aerospace markets. We deliver industry-leading tactical vehicles, vehicle armor, body armor, helmets, aircraft armor, seating systems, air bag systems and individual equipment.

We have pioneered many of the survivability products that the U.S. military relies on-Small Arms Protective Insert (SAPI) plates, Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE), the Up-Armored HMMWV (UAH), the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) and the Cockpit Air Bag System (CABS). We are dedicated to research and development investment to anticipate the survivability needs of the warfighter and his vehicle, utilizing the most advanced metal, ceramic and composite technologies available.
