Vinghog AS, a subsidiary of Rheinmetall Nordic AS, forms part of Rheinmetall’s Electro-optical Components business unit. With some 200 employees at locations in Oslo and Tonsberg, Vinghog has been an established player in Scandinavia for over half a century. The company cooperates closely with the Norwegian and Swedish armies, developing capabilities for existing and future needs.

Vinghog specializes in high-tech products for dismounted soldiers as well as sensor systems and observation, reconnaissance and fire control systems. These range from night vision goggles, target acquisition systems and day cameras to 40mm fire control systems, weapon improvement and weapon mount products.

The company exports to more than fifty countries around the world. Furthermore, Vinghog is a major sub-supplier of components to its sister company, Vingtech Corporation, USA, producing parts for remotely operated weapon stations.
