The Israel Military Industries MAJIC-1 (Missile Active Jammer In Combat) is an add-on self-defence jammer which will divert wire guided ATGM (Anti-Tank Guided Missile) off its target.

This electro-optical jammer is normally mounted on the roof or turret of a tank or armoured personnel carrier providing effective protection via wide and continuous coverage. One MAJIC-1 covers an arc of 150° and this would normally be installed to cover the frontal arc of the vehicle.

According to Israel Military Industries, the installation of MAJIC-1 enables tanks and APCs to face ATGM threats without the excessive heavy add-on ballistic armour.

MAJIC-1 is claimed to be highly ruggedised and field proven under battlefield conditions.
