The ATOM is a heavy wheeled infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) jointly developed by JSC Central Research Institute Burevestnik (a division of Uralvagonzavod) of Russia and Renault Trucks Defense (RTD) of France.

Prototype of this IFV was dispalyed KADEX-2014 (Kazakhstan) international exhibition in May 2014 and IDEX-2015 (UAE) in Fabruary 2015.

New family of 8x8 armored vehicles designed with a proven high mobility driveline from Renault Trucks defense and Uralvagonzavod’s expertise in armor and weapon systems.
