Oshkosh Defense® SandCat™ Special Operations Vehicle (SOV).

The Oshkosh® SandCat™ Special Operations Vehicle (SOV) offers extreme mobility and protection for missions in the most remote locations. Its compact design and V8 diesel engine allow it to move quickly, safely and quietly. It also allows for quick crew egress, maximum situational awareness and easy mounting of weapons. Specifically designed to minimize penetration and blast overpressure effects from mine explosions, the SandCat SOV employs advanced metal composite armor technology that protects the cab all round up to shoulder height and includes floor protection against hand grenades and land mines. And because armor is integrated right into the vehicle’s design, it offers optimal protection at a lower weight.
